When is your box office open?

Our box office hours are:

Monday: 10am-5pm
Tuesday: 10am-5pm
Wednesday: 10am-7:30pm
Thursday: 10am-7:30pm
Friday: 10am-7:30pm
Saturday: 10am-7:30pm
Sunday: 10am-3pm

Call (773) 325-1700 or visit us in person during regular hours to purchase tickets. The box office is always open until showtime for purchases for that day’s performance.

What are your prices?

Mercury Theater Chicago: ticket pricing varies based on the show, generally ranging between $45-$65/ticket. $35 limited view tickets are also available in the Balcony Left and Right sections of the theater (which are angled away from the stage).

Venus Cabaret Stage: tickets are $65/ticket. The custom food and beverage items offered for each show are included in the ticket price. Visit show pages for more details.

Convenience fees: a $4/ticket convenience fee is applied to all phone and internet sales. Purchase your tickets in person at the box office to waive the fee.

Are there any discounts available?

Students receive $10 off per ticket (with valid ID).
Seniors (65 or older) receive $5 off per ticket.
Military receive $10 off per ticket.

How do I select my seats?

Call the box office at 773-325-1700 for personalized seating recommendations and seat selection.

How do I reserve my membership tickets?

After reserving your seats, proceed through the checkout process to select the seat(s) of your choice. When you reach the payment window, select the "Redeem Benefits" link on the bottom right corner. There you can enter your name and email (or Patron ID) to complete your reservation. You may also contact the Box Office at 773-325-1700.

What does “limited view” seating mean?

Our "limited view" seats are in our balcony left and right sections. Because they are angled away from the stage one must turn their head to see the stage.

Is it possible to request an accessible seat?

Yes, when purchasing tickets online you may click "I require accessible seating" after selecting your ticket quantity and location.

Do you have Assisted Listening Devices?

Yes, patrons may ask the house manager for an assisted listening device before the performance begins.

Where do I park my car?

Lot Parking: There is a public pay lot available at Blaine School, ½ block north of the theater (credit card or exact change accepted). We recommend arriving early, as the lot can fill up quickly on the weekends. Parking starts at $16 per hour and increases according to demand, especially on Cubs game days.

Valet Parking: Limited valet parking is provided at the entrance to the theater for a fee of $15/car starting an hour and a half before showtime. We highly recommend arriving early to ensure a stress-free parking experience. If you wish to spend time in the neighborhood after the show, be sure to notify the valet so he can take care of you accordingly. The Valet service is operated by BLK & WHT Valet.

Street Parking: Limited metered street parking along Southport is available for $2/hour for a maximum of 3 hours. Meters run from 9am-9pm Monday through Saturday and 10am–8pm on Sundays. Free street parking is available on and west of Ashland Ave (three blocks west of the theater) and north of Irving Park Road (two blocks north of the theater). Some of these streets have special parking limitations during Cubs night games starting at 5pm. Note some streets are zoned for resident parking only; currently, it is best to look on the side streets east of Southport on Grace and Byron for free parking.

What should I wear to the theater?

Patrons typically arrive in "smart casual" attire. We recommend an extra layer in case the theater is chilly.

Do I need an ID with me to pick up the tickets?

Yes, please have a valid ID avaialble when picking up your tickets at the box office.

Can I exchange my tickets to another performance?

Yes, the box office is happy to assist you with an exchange of your tickets for a $4/ticket fee. Exchanges are not possible after your original date has passed.

Can I get a refund?

All ticket sales are final.
