A member of The Mercury Theater sales team, the position will report to the General Manager. This is a temporary position thru mid-November 2011.
Primary responsibilities include:
Sales
• Execute the sales plan using effective sales techniques
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers
• Convert prospects to clients; successfully conduct telephone sales calls to both new and existing customers, utilizing effective closing techniques
• Convincingly present proposals over the phone and in person during client visits and appointments
• Quotes group ticket rates
• Arranges for sale of tickets and seating for group on specific date(s)
• Obtains payment
• Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM system
• Successfully up-sell existing clients to higher value items
• Handle objections and solve customer problems
• Additional special projects and duties as assigned by supervisor
Customer Service/Administrative
• Ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries
• Ensure complete and accurate product details are communicated to the operations team to ensure proper execution of product promised
• Maintain proper personal organization; excellent time management skills, set appropriate work priorities, and maintain accurate records
• Work with Sales Manager to collect payments; maintain accounts receivable within aging guidelines
• Additional special projects and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Salary:
$10/hour plus commission
